The Barcelona saga with Ousmane Dembélé is gaining momentum. Sources said the player may be out of the squad from the Copa del Rey match against Athletic Bilbao after the complication in extending his contract.
Journalist Gerard Romero yesterday revealed the demands that Dembele’s agent has for Barcelona: a 5-year contract in the amount of 200 million euros gross plus 20 million euros bonuses per player and another 20 million euros signing bonus.
Romero also said that Barcelona will cancel the offer if Dembélé does not agree to the terms and he will be in the stands until the end of the season because the player does not want to leave in January.
Sources have told the BarcaTimes in recent weeks that both sides see no chance of reaching an agreement and extending Dembele’s contract at the club because of the high demands from Dembele’s camp and the French player’s story ended at Barça.
